Premier Foods is the largest supplier in the £21.6 billion ambient groceries market with a market share of approximately 7%.

Our £1,328 million Grocery division encompasses both branded and own label products in a wide variety of ambient grocery sectors including cakes, soups, vegetables, stocks, gravies, spreads, ambient desserts, home baking, cooking sauces and Asian meals, pickles and beverages.

Our most popular brands in the grocery division include Batchelors soups, noodles, rice, pasta and vegetables, OXO stocks, Branston pickles, baked beans and pasta, Homepride cooking sauces, Crosse & Blackwell convenience foods, Sarson’s vinegar, Fray Bentos meat pies, Haywards pickles, Smash instant mash potatoes, Loyd Grossman (under licence) cooking sauces and soups, Ambrosia custard and milk products, Bird’s and Angel Delight desserts, Robertson’s, Frank Cooper’s, Rose’s and Hartley’s preserves, marmalades and desserts, Gale’s honey and lemon curd, Sun-Pat peanut butter, Marvel powdered milk creamer, Sharwood’s Asian sauces and condiments, Bisto gravies, Saxa salt, Paxo stuffing mixes, Atora suet, McDougalls, Be-Ro and Hovis flours and baking mixes and Rombouts (under licence) coffee.

In addition, Premier Foods is the UK’s largest manufacturer of cakes.  Products include small cakes and jam tarts, fruit pies, whole cakes, Swiss rolls, mini rolls and cake bars.  Branded cakes are predominantly sold under the Mr Kipling, Lyons and Cadbury (under licence) brands.
